The Importance Of Declarations

Isaiah 43:26(KJV)

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

Throughout the Scriptures, before God does anything, He will say something; His words precede His doings. Engaging God in His Word guarantees an audience. So, when we declare His Word, we put God in remembrance of His Word and prophecies to secure delivery and fulfillment. The truth is God does confirm declarations. Isaiah 44:26 says, “That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof.” God confirms our words and fulfills the counsel of His messengers. What we say with our mouths is as important as what God says. Numbers 14:28 says, “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:” God is committed to what we say, just as He is committed to what He says. Everyone who truly serves God is His servant, and He is bound to confirm their words. In other words, God is committed to what the redeemed says.

The words we declare are seeds, which bring forth fruits after their kind. God will confirm the right words we speak as children of God so as not to lack results. What we don’t believe, we are not empowered to become, and until we say it, God is not permitted to deliver. If success is too big for our mouths, it would be too big for our hands. Job 22:28 says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Our authority as children of God includes the power to decree things. Through this power, we are to take charge by enforcing the will of the Father on earth. For example, God commanded Balaam to bless, and because he proclaimed the blessings, God sealed them (Numbers 23:20). When dedicated children of God stand in the Name of the Lord and implant blessings, they commit God’s Integrity to confirm them. God is committed to whatever we say, whether in public or private. He can’t act until we have uttered the words. The Word of God we express through our lips in any area of our lives determines our harvest. Through our mouths, we sow success when we declare them. When we issue a declaration, the enemy trembles, evil works bow, and demonic spirits are in trouble.

Beloved, you have the authority to live a life of victory and to forbid and resist the devil. Declare a thing, and it shall come to pass if you believe. In this season, let your words align with God’s Word, then what you declare will be established. You are superior to satan, and he is ever ready to stand at your command. Whatever you declare today shall be established unto you. As you speak, Jehovah Jireh, the Lord, our Provider, will do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond. Declare your breakthroughs, healings, increase, long life, and abundance. Never live in mediocrity any longer. Let God’s Word shine on your ways and direct your path toward the life of victory that God has promised. Next time you face any crisis or challenge, declare over that situation, and there will be a supernatural shift or change of story. So stop talking about your trials because what you talk about is what you will possess. Never run your life down or let anybody run it down in your presence or absence with negative words. Today, live in holiness and perfect obedience to the Word of God, and no demon can resist your declarations. Remember, you carry Heaven’s seal of approval, the power to declare and lose your blessings.

O Lord, thank You for Your Word, empower me to live by declarations in Jesus Precious Name.
