The Lord Will Perfect

Psalms 138:8 (KJV)

The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

In Psalm 138, David expresses gratitude for God’s unwavering love and faithfulness. He acknowledges that God answers prayers promptly and without delay. Despite God’s immense power and greatness, He is concerned about the well-being of the humble. David, who faced imminent danger from his enemies, trusted in God’s ultimate plan for his life, which he believed would come to fruition. David’s confidence in God’s care for him enabled him to face his troubles without fear or discouragement. This Scripture should inspire confidence in us, affirming that our future is secure. It underscores the fact that God is perfect and can make man perfect. He has the power to perfect everything that pertains to us, bring to pass all His promises in our life, and mold us into the beings He desires us to be. Our lives have significance and purpose in God’s grand scheme, and because His love for us endures forever, we can trust that He will not abandon the work He has begun in our lives.

Understanding that God’s purpose for our lives may not align with our preconceived notions or personal aspirations is crucial. We may encounter hurdles, setbacks, or deviations from our expected path. However, it’s imperative to remember that God’s purpose is resolute and unwavering, even in adversity. It’s also important to note that God will orchestrate His designs for us, ensuring they come to fruition. Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Paul says that God, who saved us, has started a good work in us, which He is committed to perfect. That is, He is Perfect and has a perfect plan for us. 1 Corinthians 1:8-9 says, “Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our LORD Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our LORD.” The Lord is faithful and unwavering in His commitment to our success and well-being. As our loving Creator, He has crafted every one of us with purpose, intention, and uniqueness. He has intricately designed and formed us, and just like a skilled artisan who doesn’t abandon their creation, God will not forsake us. He will continue to refine, mold, and guide us toward fulfilling His plans for our lives. We can rest assured that with God by our side, we can achieve anything and everything that concerns our lives.

Beloved, God shall perfect all that concerns you. Believe in God’s promises to you and know that you are an integral part of His divine plan. Don’t give up or lose hope because whatever God has promised, He will surely bring to pass. Your unwavering faith and trust in His Word will trigger His abundant blessings in your life. You are destined for greatness; nothing in this world can conquer or defeat you because you have already triumphed in Christ. Refuse to entertain any opposing thoughts or beliefs that contradict this truth. Regardless of your challenges or obstacles, stay confident that everything will work together for your good. Your story is one of victory, not defeat, and nothing can change that. Keep holding onto God’s promises, for He who began a good work in you will see it to completion. Don’t let your circumstances steal your joy, peace, or fulfillment. Instead, trust in the Lord, and be assured that He has something incredible and unprecedented in store for you – blessings, breakthroughs, and restoration like you’ve never experienced! So stand tall, be bold, and walk with unwavering confidence, for you are a child of the Most High God! Today, keep standing, believing, and hoping because the Bible says God will perfect everything concerning your life. Remember, with God by your side, you can rest assured that He will never allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle and will always bring to completion what He has started in your life.

O Lord, thank You for the reassurance that You will fulfill Your purpose in me. Help me trust Your plan, even amidst uncertainty and challenges, in Jesus’ Name.
