Joel 2:32 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
It is clear from the above that the Name of the Lord is not just an ordinary Name but a Mighty Name that brings deliverance and safety when called on. Merely calling the Name of the Lord when we are overwhelmed will save us. Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved is an unequivocal and profound assertion, transcending creed, color, or circumstance. It represents a universal invitation to salvation, showcasing God’s boundless mercy and grace. This promise confirms that divine acceptance is within reach for all, regardless of past or present circumstances. The NAME can both electrify and wipe out the works of the devil. The Name of the Lord hides the children of God from the reach of any harm. Demons flee at the mention of the Name. Philippians 2:10 says, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” There is no other god beside Him; none can deliver out of His Hand.
The Almighty God is the security on which we can base our lives. In the Name of the Lord guarantees our safety. He is our Refuge. He is Mighty to deliver, Mighty to save, the Mighty Man in battle, and the Lord of Host. Proverbs 18:10 says, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” As we run into the Strong Tower, we are safe from the arrows of the wicked and the winds of adversity. When we call on Him, He can exert His Power to tame the raging superstorms of life. No matter how mad a witch or wizard gets with us, they cannot pursue us into the Strong Tower of the Lord. That makes us safe in God’s hands, and there is nothing the devil can do. In Judges 9:50-55, we learn about the siege of Thebez by Abimelech. The citizens sought refuge in a tower within the city as Abimelech attempted to break through the city gate to attack them. During this siege, a woman within the tower threw a stone from the top, striking Abimelech in the head and resulting in his demise. Hal-le-lu-jah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There will always be an Abimelech to contend with us. However, if we position ourselves in the Strong Tower, we will come out safe and victorious.
Beloved, call on the Name of the Lord, and you will never be rejected or turned down. The Name brings salvation and deliverance to every child of God. Deliverance is inevitable because we have a Mighty Savior and Deliverer in Jesus. All authority in Heaven and on earth belongs to Him, and even demons are no match for His might. When He commands, demons obey, and at the mention of His Name, they flee, ensuring deliverance for all. Use the Name of the Lord to confront the battles you face today, and you will see them crumble before you. If there is ever a time you need to shout that Name more than ever before, it is now. Today, live a holy life to dwell in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You need to know the Name of the Lord in times of peace before He can answer you in times of war. As you use the Name, you shall possess your possession, and your life will head for greatness, success, and access to all the blessings attached to your destiny in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Just remember that Name for all you do!
O Lord, thank You for Your Word, as I call on Your Name, deliver me from every evil work against my life in Jesus’ Name.
