The Promises of God are Yes and Amen!

2 Corinthians 1:20(KJV)
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
The Christian life rests on a foundation of God’s Promises and we can trust everything that our Heavenly Father has said to us, because His Word is truth, faithful, loving and all powerful. The Lord knows what is true and speaks honestly in all matters. Numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” We can be assured of this because He is Holy; there is no sin in Him and not a man to lie. He is Omniscient and understands everything and His Promises are based on His infinite knowledge and truthfulness. Isaiah 49:15-16 says, “can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.” God will never forget about His Children. What He has planned for us, He will bring to fruition (Phil. 1:6).
In Jeremiah 1:12, God reassures us that He watches over His Word to perform it in our lives. Have faith in Him today. Our Heavenly Father does not waver in His intentions or will. His love for us was demonstrated at the cross, He sent His Son Jesus to die by crucifixion and thereby take the punishment for our sins. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Savior experienced God’s wrath against iniquity so we might know only His love. This is the ultimate proof of His devotion to us. Divine power created the world and raised the Savior back to life, so we know God has the ability to carry out all His Plans concerning our lives. His Promises for us are guaranteed, because God cannot break His Word. And because His Word cannot change, His Promises likewise are unchangeable. Hebrews 13:8 says “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” And because He never changes, He will also keep every one of His Promises. A promise is valuable only if the one making it has trustworthy character and the ability to carry through. We can base our entire life on His Promises, secure in the knowledge that He will do just as He has said. God has promised that, in the midst of trouble and conflict, we shall receive a genuine peace, a sense of assurance and security, that the worldly person never knows. He has also promised to prosper and bless the work of our hands, to rebuke the devourer for us and grant us peace and tranquility. He assures us of instant answer to prayers, provision and security. In essence, through God, we can have life in abundance with no lack, no loss and no limitations.
Beloved, one of the secrets of attracting God to perfect all that concerns you is holding onto His Word. Never let God’s promises concerning your life pass you hold onto them in prayers and declarations because they must surely come to pass even though if it tarries. He has great plans and promises for you and because of Christ, He is going to fulfill every single one of them in your life. Look up to God for the solution to the challenge you may be facing and refuse to rely on your natural abilities. Always proclaim the promises of God on your life and perfect all the concerns your life. In this season and beyond, the things that stood against you will begin to bow to you. Where you have failed, you will succeed in Jesus’ Name.
O Lord, thank You for Your Word, I only look up to You to fulfil all Your Promises concerning my life in Jesus’ Name.
