The Secrets of God

Deuteronomy 29:29(ESV)

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

From the above Scripture, God reveals His secrets and mysteries to us so that we can be in an advantageous position to do His will. Our Heavenly Father has access to all the secret things of life. He chooses to share these secrets to help us in the fulfillment of our destinies and to avert pending calamity. Therefore, when we live our lives per the Will of God, we gain supernatural access to the secrets of God. So, access to Divine revelation requires consecration, without which we will be limited to only information available to everybody. It is written in Proverbs 3:32, “For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.” That is, there are things God will show the godly that He will not show the ungodly. It takes godliness to grow in revelation, and it takes revelation to accomplish exploits. In other words, only the redeemed have access to the mysteries of God, and it is by these mysteries that we command dominion.

The Almighty is the custodian of knowledge, and He gives it to those who diligently seek it. The Bible says in James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” The lack of knowledge or understanding of mysteries has prompted the masses to seek the so-called ‘third eye’. However, we do not need fortune tellers, stargazers, horoscopes, palm readers, or fetish to look into the future or know what to expect in our lives; God has everything worked out for the faithful Christian. The Almighty God is the only One reserved with the precise knowledge and fine details of the future and eternity. He reveals such secrets at His pleasure to His people. The ability to see and hear from God is all found with the righteous. When we obey the instructions of God, He will share His secrets with us. After He has tested our level of commitment, love, and loyalty, and He is satisfied, He will upgrade the relationship by showing us more deep secrets. The Lord says in Genesis 18:17, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do.” Abraham lived a righteous life before God, so it was not difficult for God to make available to him what He was about to do in Sodom and Gomorrah. Psalm 25:14 says, “The friendship[a] of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.” For instance, Joseph had access to the secrets of God because he revered the Lord. Daniel also had access to Divine information because he feared God(Daniel 2:22-45). Therefore, when we walk in fear of God, we gain supernatural access to the secrets of God that make us Kingdom stars. Unfortunately, many Christians are more committed to parties, money-making, and career pursuits than they are to God who created them and therefore are not previewed to the secrets of God. Many want God to reveal His secrets to them, but they are not living in fear of Him.

Beloved, make dedication and commitment to God as your primary assignment on earth, and God will reveal all you need to know. Live in the reverence of the Lord and hate any form of evil. As you walk in fear of God, you have nothing to fear in life because the fear of God grants you access to His secrets. In every circumstance, you find yourself, even when it seems all hope is lost, believe in God and fear Him for He will always show up for you. Today, keep a distance from all that God hates, and His secrets will be made available to you. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending! He knows the secrets behind all things that are happening and are yet to happen in your life. The truth is, once the Will of God in your life is revealed, it belongs to you. Today, let your life please Him, and He will show you great and wondrous things. Reject every dream from the ungodly about your life because God has no business with showing them what will happen in your life as a believer. Be wise to put your trust in God. My counsel is to read His Word(Bible) and spend quality time in His Presence through prayer and fasting to access the secret things of God. Make demands on God for the revelation of His Word to you.

O Lord, release every hidden secret that will accelerate the fulfillment of my destiny in Jesus’ Name.
