The Shining Light

Proverbs 4:18(KJV)

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The above Scripture emphatically says that the path of the righteous is like a light that shines brighter until it reaches its full strength on a perfect day. As the sun rises in the sky, the light given to us increases ever brighter, illumining all that is in the world until it reaches its zenith. This means the path of the children of God is full of light, and they clearly see where to walk. As time passes, our path grows more illumined and easy to walk upon. So, as children of God, failure is not our portion because God has no stationary position for His children. The life of God we have has its progressive tendencies. Its progress and growth are constant occurrences. Like a well-wrapped gift, life is programmed for growth and development. So, we must keep unwrapping because something is always better to be revealed. It can only get better. According to the Scriptures, the destiny of the redeemed is like a book of chapters, which opens up one chapter after another by applied revelation. The challenge today is that many people have come to think or conclude that failure is the end of the road. However, a bend in the road is not the end because we are ordained as pacesetters and trailblazers.

As children of God, as far as God is concerned, our lives today cannot be worse than our lives yesterday. Even if we cannot see it, one thing is for sure: the path of those who do right is like the sun in the morning, and it shines brighter and brighter until the full light of day. Today is the worst place we can ever be. This is because our tomorrow, by Scripture, revelation, and the Holy Ghost, is already eternally programmed and sealed by the Blood to be better than today. The Blood of Jesus has justified us for consistent progress. Thus, we must live in the reality of the Scriptures, not circumstances, so our present position cannot be our ultimate. It is written in Hebrews 6:14, “Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.” There is hope for every child of God because He has blessings for His own. We are programmed for the topmost top; any other position is unacceptable. Psalms 30:5 “………. weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” There is light at the end of the tunnel. A change, lift, shift, or transformation happens anytime we identify with God.

Beloved, no matter what is happening in your life today, as a believer in Christ, you have a reason to be excited about your future! If things seem dark right now, know that the dawn will soon appear. You might not see the sun rising because of the cloud, but I can assure you that the full light of day will undoubtedly come. The key is that you are not here by accident; you have a purpose and destiny to fulfill, and God is not finished with you yet. Your best days are not behind you; your best days are out in front of you. One thing I know is that God is a God of increase. He has more extraordinary things in store for your future than you have experienced in your past. His dream for your future is so much bigger than your own. He wants to take you places you’ve never dreamed of and open doors you’ve never imagined. He wants to increase you and cause you to be a more incredible blessing to the people around you. Today, get your hopes up and get excited about your future! Don’t stay down, no matter how hard the knocks you take in life. Stand up because your better days are at hand. Begin to thank Him for what He has in store. Keep standing, believing, and moving forward because God has explosive blessings in store for you! Remember to hold fast to the profession of your faith because He is faithful, as He promised.

O Lord, thank You for the better days You have already prepared for me in Jesus’ Name.
