Psalm 135:6 (KJV)
Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
Our anchored Scripture emphasizes the sovereignty and authority of the Lord, who acts according to His will and purpose. His power extends across the entire cosmos, from the heights of the heavens to the depths of the seas. Our God has unlimited power and resources. Through His Power, He does wonders as He chooses. In God’s infinite wisdom and power, He does as He pleases, for He is God, and power belongs to Him Alone. Whenever God acts, He acts in a way that pleases Him. God is never restrained to do a thing that He despises. He is never backed into a corner where His only alternative is to do something He hates to do. Psalms 66:3 says, “Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.” It is also unquestionable that all power in Heaven and on earth belongs to God. One cannot help but imagine the awesomeness of the Almighty. The exceeding greatness of His power delivers us from the enemy. His authority is so perfect and thorough that His enemies understand that they are no match; that includes principalities and powers in the spiritual realm, the host of heavenly beings powerful beyond imagination, the enemies of Christ and His Church, and the enemies of His children.
The Power of God is one of the most prized assets any human being can have on earth because it takes the Power of God to win the battles of life. Darkness has no respect for our titles, education, or background, only the power of God. So, we need the power of God to subdue the forces of darkness. Psalm 62:11 says, “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” All power belongs to God, and companying with the great God causes us to experience His greatness. Psalm 147:5 says, “Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.” We serve a great and mighty God. He is the mighty-breasted One. By His Power, the mountains move, the earth shakes, and perform wonders beyond human comprehension. The Power of God causes His children to prevail over the enemy’s threats and the fear of the future. In other words, God’s Power and Strength deliver us from spiritual and physical attacks and satan’s schemes to bind us. Deuteronomy 28:7 says, “The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.” When God’s Power begins to flow through us, it goes far beyond us. The greatness of God’s Power is fearsome to His enemies, and it forces and frightens them into submission. It causes the enemy to surrender.
Beloved, the greatness of God’s Power will bring the devil to bow and destroy his evil works in your life. Through the greatness of God, His enemies shall flee because they respect the power of the Almighty God. Never undermine the ability of God to turn your situation around. The Power of God can address every problem and all circumstances. So, when you call upon the Awesome God, you are calling on Him whose power has no measure, and He will give you victory in all battles of life. Enough of that demonic harassment, satanic oppression, frustration, and confusion! They all submit now to the Power of God. Your haters will submit by force because they will see God at work decorating you! That stubborn enemy of your destiny will submit to God’s Power; barrenness, lack, empty-handedness, joblessness, singleness, sickness, shame, and all other afflictions must submit. As the Lord takes over your battles, all your enemies shall flee, and you shall experience peace on every side in Jesus’ Name. Trust God when your strength is weak, when everything seems to have failed, and He will not disappoint! Recounting His matchless power and faithfulness gives you the inner strength to keep holding on when darkness seems to surround you. The Omnipotent God will do wonders and showcase His glory in your life. Honor Him by believing that nothing is too hard for Him. Remember, there is victory in God’s delivering power; therefore, loss, disappointment, or setbacks are impossible with God!
O LORD, thank You for Your Word. I connect to Your Power to destroy every work of the enemy in my life in Jesus’ Name.
