The Story Changing God

Genesis 17:15-16(KJV)
And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
The scripture tells us that God changed the name of Sarai to Sarah and blessed her. In the Bible, God also changed Abram’s name to Abraham(Genesis 17:5), Jacob to Israel(Genesis 32:28) and Saul to Paul(Acts 13:9). God often changed a person’s name to indicate what He is going to do through that person. When God changes a person’s name, it usually means that the past is forever changed, the past is forgiven, and a new day has begun. Remember, the story changing God is still on the Throne. It is not over until God says so.
Notice this; before God promised Sarah, no child has been born to her, yet God says He has made Sarah “a mother of many nations.” What God has promised, He is able to perform. What He has begun, He is able to finish. When God says it, it is as good as done. Romans 8:30 says “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” We have not yet been glorified, but God speaks of it as a finished work, because what He begins, He finishes. When it is His undertaking, He sees it through. The time element is in His hands. He looked past Sarah’s age into her future and made her the mother of a great multitude. The same God who changed Sarah’s story will change yours positively, in Jesus’ Name!
Beloved, it is already too late for the devil. You have God on your side and He will not disappoint you. Stand strong in faith. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” In Christ all things concerning your life is made new, so stop dwelling in the past. Today maybe you are barren, not married, sick or in some form of difficulty, learn to see the emptiness of human reasoning so that your faith is established. God is in the process of changing your story. He is able to do more with you than you can ever imagine. When you believe in Him, you are blessed and are promised eternal life with Him. .
O Lord, thank You for Your ever presence and faithfulness, I trust You to fulfil every promise in my life in Jesus’ Name.
