Psalm 29:4(KJV)
The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
From our anchored Scripture, it is clear that the Voice of God is powerful and full of majesty. The Voice of God is one of the greatest assets on earth because the Voice is the compass for life and destiny. Understanding His Voice will land us in our high places and path in life and destiny. The Voice of God is pregnant with power; it empowers us to fulfillment. That is, connecting to the Voice of the Lord allows us not to be weaklings in life. The Voice of the Lord is a weapon for the battles of life; one revelation from God by His Voice can finish our enemies. There is an immediate change whenever we hear the Voice of the Lord. Accessing the Voice of God is key to Divine direction, and Divine direction is key to distinction and dominion on earth. Access to the Voice of God was behind the making of dominant people in the Scripture. For instance, Samuel heard the Voice of God, and that Voice remained a principal asset in his journey of life on earth.
God speaks audibly to His children or through His Word. The strength and authority of God’s Voice have a connection to His Word. If the Voice of God has such power, then the Words uttered with His Voice have the same strength and authority. The Voice of God that is also the Word of God is faultless and fortified with power through His Word our lives are regulated. Just as we need to be tuned to a particular frequency to pick radio signals, we need to correctly tune in to Heaven’s frequency to hear God’s Voice of direction. And this requires a definite determination on our parts. Isaiah 30:29-30 says, “Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel. And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard……………” Only when we come to Him with a song and with gladness of heart! If there is no gladness of the heart, we become deaf to the Voice of God. Therefore, we should endeavor not to let anything take our joy from us.
Beloved, do all you can to hear from God in every area of your life; have a personal relationship, intimacy, communion, and commitment to Him. Study the Word of God continually and boisterously. The truth is, the Word is the surest, easiest, and undeniably way of hearing God. When you hear His Voice from the Word, you can recognize it outside the Word. Be encouraged today, listen for His Voice, choose Him, and stay the course. You may be tired, discouraged, and tempted to be frustrated, but don’t give up on His Voice. Make up your mind not to do anything over a matter until you have heard from God. Pay the price of accessing God’s Voice. Let your ways please Him, and He will surely draw you closer to Himself by speaking to you. Let His Voice be your guide. Acknowledge God in all you do and seek His direction. The choice is entirely yours. Remember, God is still in the business of speaking to His children, learn how to hear from Him, and obey His Voice.
O LORD, open my ears to hear Your Voice. Help me to access Your Voice in Jesus’ Name.
