The Wisdom To Rule

Genesis 41:39-41(KJV)

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

Amidst the trials of his life, Joseph believed that God’s plan was to prepare him, not to punish him. Despite the darkness that enveloped him, Joseph remained steadfast in pursuing what was right. And when the time came, Joseph was ready to make the most of the years of abundance, using his wisdom and foresight to save entire nations when famine struck. After interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams, Joseph, who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills, proposes a unique role to manage the situation. His forward-thinking approach highlights his ability to make the best of any circumstance. In other words, Pharaoh realized that Joseph possessed not only the correct interpretation of the dream but also the proper guidance to heed the divine message. Joseph’s ability to interpret Pharaoh’s dreams allowed him to be appointed as the second-in-command of Egypt. Through Joseph’s wise planning and preparation, Pharaoh wanted him to be the one to save Egypt. It was the wisdom of God that put Joseph on the throne. Although the throne was available to Joseph, he didn’t acquire it by faith, prayer, or fasting; he only sat on the throne by wisdom. With everything Joseph carried, if he hadn’t given Pharoah the solution he needed to deliver Egypt, he would have returned to captivity despite the prophecies of his life.

The wisdom of God is the secret of stardom, royalty, and blessing in the kingdom. In it, people reign and rule, and the result is that a kingdom or government’s peace and justice depend on it. In other words, wisdom brings rulership and enthrones people. Wisdom is so significant for ruling that a poor child with it is better than a wealthy old king without it. Wisdom teaches kings the importance of many things. By it, the wicked receive punishment, enjoy mercy and truth, and search out matters. By redemption, we are also to rule and reign. Revelation 1:6 says, “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.” There is a throne for us, but wisdom puts us on that throne. So, it takes God’s wisdom to occupy that throne. In every realm of life where God has ordained that we rule and reign, whether governmental, financial, or academic, wisdom put us there. Therefore, wisdom is vital and indispensable in the life of every believer. It is very critical for outstanding and distinguished living. Proverbs 8:15-16 says, “By me kings reign, And princes decree justice. By me princes rule, And nobles, even all the judges of the earth.” Wisdom is critical to the fulfillment of life and destiny. Nothing puts people in command like wisdom. People reign when it is in place. For anybody to rule over the forces of iniquity, adversity, poverty, and the enemy on earth, wisdom is needed. Many prayerful people are defeated or highly gifted people who have not yet seen the light of day because the wisdom of God has yet to explode in their lives.

Beloved, if you must see an increase and not decrease; if you must stand out and not die under; if you must be in the palace and not in prison, you need wisdom. If you are going to be a ruler, you need the wisdom of God because the way of wisdom is the way into the kingdom. Today, make up your mind to pursue and live by wisdom. Ask God for the impartation of His Wisdom and Blessing upon your life. Diligently seek God, and you will walk in His plan for your life, God’s perfect plan. Let the fear of God reflect in everything You do; do not let sin rule your life. The wisdom that will put you on that throne and place you where you belong is released now in Jesus’ Name. Remember, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

O Lord, I ask that You baptize me with Your wisdom. I receive favor, dominion, and preservation for my life and destiny by Your Wisdom in Jesus’ Name.
