The Word Is Our Inheritance

Acts 20:32(KJV)

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

From our anchored Scripture, the Word of God releases our potentials for the fulfillment of our destiny. That is, the Word of God is pregnant with our inheritance. Apostle Paul encourages us to connect with the Word because inside the Word are the details of our blessings and inheritance in God. The Word of God is a channel of grace; that is, when people have the Word built in them, they experience abundant grace. The Word of Grace sustains and empowers life and ministry. It brings us to the inheritance of everlasting joy because it has a sanctifying effect on our lives. The Word of God can turn us from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to the All-Powerful God. The Word of Grace is a master builder, and it builds a fruitful and valuable structure out of a life of ruins and confusion. It creates security out of fear and anxiety, strength out of weakness, and stability out of wavering uncertainty. The Word of Grace makes beauty out of ugliness. So, the Word of Grace is the container of the Will of God. In it are the plans and blessings of God for His people.

We have an inheritance in God’s Word, which gives us access to that turnaround we desire. The Word of God is loaded! It is the answer to every question, the solution to every problem, and the way out of every predicament. The Word of God in the life of man connects man to his inheritance and possessions in God. The ability of the Word of Grace to build-up is virtually the same as its ability to sanctify. Sanctification is a fundamental requirement to partake of our inheritance in Christ. That is, for us to enjoy our inheritance in Christ, we must be holy. In John 17:17, Jesus prayed, “Sanctify them in the truth. Thy Word is truth.” The Word of God sanctifies. Therefore, the Word of God gives us our inheritance, and it belongs to the righteous. There are potentials and unction of the spirit that are buried in us that we have never experienced. The truth is, one revelation will pull them out. The rain of the grace of God on our spirit will make people begin to wonder what happened to us. As we grow in faith, we are changed and transformed, becoming more mature in God. As a result, we can access and maximize all of the power, glory, and inheritance that God has freely made available to us in Christ.

Beloved, the revelation of the Grace of God in Christ can build you up in every area of your life. Be determined to explore all the potentials God has given you through His Word because triumphing in this world requires giving genuine attention to the Word of God. Maybe you do not know the capabilities you carry, or you are having difficulties, depend on God’s Word. Build your life on the Word of God, and you will forever stand strong and tall, even in the midst of the harshest of storms. The Word of God will make you what God wants you to be without you having to struggle. The Word of God will keep you in health, strength, and victory, and you will experience unprecedented progress, peace, and prosperity in your life. Today, locate your inheritance in the Scriptures, meditate, pray, war, and work towards its manifestation. Be compelled to read and study the Bible daily. Remember, sanctified life may be costly, but the result is priceless.

O Lord, I thank You for Your Word. I connect with grace from Your Word. Help me to access my inheritance through Your Word in Jesus’ Name.
