Psalm 19:7(AMP)
The law of the Lord is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul; The statutes of the Lord are reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The Bible is the constitution of Christianity, and as such should not be treated as ordinary as some do. Through the Word of God we receive fresh revelations and divine wisdom. Every revelation from the Word produces a manifestation in our lives and aids our spiritual development. God’s Word is made perfect for us to bring hope to the hopeless situation, brings life to a lifeless situation and reverses the irreversible. The Word is the platform on which we should lay the foundation of our desires and requests. There is a great depth in God’s Word. By engaging the Word, you are opening yourself up to great revelations, hidden treasures and fresh insight. Psalm 107:20 says “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
God’s Word is everything, it’s what we need to be all that God has destined us to be in life. The Word of God is one of the weapons with which we can fight the devil and every unpleasant situation of life. With the Word, we can begin to defeat the enemy during temptations and attacks(Matt 4:1-11, Luke 4). We cannot be victorious Christians with our own strength, we have to depend on the Word of God to be able to fix every issue of our lives. The Word is good for renewing our minds, because it reveals God’s thoughts to us, and it makes us see things through God’s Eyes. Remember this, the Word of God is sent to meet our needs and it’s the Word that does the work. It’ll work for anyone who’ll put it to work. It’ll work for us just like it worked for Jesus when He walked the earth.
Beloved, the Word of God is the Divine diet that will revive and sustain your soul. It will build you up and energize you again with hope. Cherish God’s Word and know it for yourself, for it’s the way to multiply grace and peace in your life. You must be consistent in reading it through the day and night, so you will be strong and encouraged to face the challenge of each new day. Acts 20:32 says “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” As you regularly feed on God’s Word daily, it will be your strength and support in all times. I decree that the Word that will change your life for good and have a great impact on your destiny will come quickly in Jesus’ Name!!!! I will end with Psalm 119:105 and the Scripture says “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
O LORD, teach me as I read the Bible to follow Your commandments bringing restoration and refreshment in Jesus’ Name.
