The Word of God is Powerful!

From our anchored Scripture, the Holy Spirit reveals to us that God’s Word has the power to effect change in the spirit, soul and body of man. The Word of God is quick to act and pregnant with power and the purpose of that power is the enforcement of change in our lives. The power in the Word of God dismantles yokes, limitations, embargoes, spells or curses. The living Word of God is the only power strong enough to discipline your flesh. The Word of God penetrates deeper into a man than any sword, it enters into the soul and spirit, into all our sensations and passions, to our very thoughts and sits as judge of the most secret intentions. Ephesians 6:17 says “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. It is an offensive weapon of warfare with which we attack the enemy, and it is powerful through God to the pulling down of the devil’s strongholds. The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword, with the Word barrenness can turn into fruitfulness, poverty can turn into riches, victims can turn into victors, sickness can turn into good health. It is unfortunate that many believers have become casualties on the battlefield of life, when they should be victors, they are made victims by the enemy. It is the Word of God that we respect that will work for us when we apply it in spiritual warfare. For instance, when David fought Goliath, he understood that the Name of the Lord is a Strong Tower that is why he won that battle hands down. The Word of God was with David, he became Israel’s greatest king and warrior. When the devil came to tempt the Lord Jesus Christ, He overcame him using the Word of God. Peter also said ‘Nevertheless at thy word’ which means regardless of the facts on ground because of His Word, he will obey. Every encounter with the Word of God springs up a new beginning. The Word of God can enter the joints and marrow to combat any form of sickness and win. It is written in Psalm 107:20 “He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.” The Word is powerfully alive and is capable of healing all manner of sicknesses. All we need is God’s Word, the all-purpose drug sent to us by God to immunize us against all forms of sicknesses and to keep us healthy, and make us perfectly whole. When situations come against us, we do not focus on them, we focus on what God has said about us. And as long as we keep the Word in sight, it will produce the desired results.

Beloved, the keys to defeat the devil are in the Word of God . There’s no situation you can’t handle successfully with the Word of God. Make the Word of God your stay, live in the Word! Study the Word day and night so that you can be very confident and bold in times of need, because the Word becomes so effective when you apply it. Trust that God’s Word is alive, so powerful and it cuts through every situation. Let God’s Word gain the mastery in your life and you will live an extraordinary life. You would be unconquerable, triumphing over every circumstances. Jesus said “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Today, embrace God’s Word by believing what it says, and revere it by obeying what it commands and live by its principles. Ask the Lord for the Word for your situation, apply it after the order of Peter and it will surprise you what the Lord can do. Remember, the Word of God is powerful, know it, believe it, apply it and expect it to work and it will work wonders.
