There Is Hope For You

Ecclesiastes 9:4(KJV)

For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

Hope is so essential that our anchored Scripture makes us understand that if there is life, there is hope. In other words, as long as we are alive, there is hope for a better tomorrow. A deliberate effort to keep hope alive is necessary to emerge successful in any situation. Hope is a significant element in describing our faith; without it, no man can please God. For this reason, we must keep hope alive in ourselves as we live our daily lives in faith. So, a life without hope is a life without a definite future destination. Once we give up hope, we give up life. The hope of success is the belief that something will happen or change. Hope tells us that in the midst of impossibility, all things will soon become possible. Our hope plus faith equals a miracle. In other words, that living hope inside us, plus little faith like the mustard seed, is the gateway to our breakthrough.

In a world that seems ever increasingly dark and hopeless, as Christians, our hope is based upon the promise of God, for there is no incurable situation with God. It does not matter how burdensome the circumstances are; God can turn them around for good. Many Christians have lost hope in God’s promises, waiting for their physical manifestation before they believe. However, hope in the Lord because He is Good regardless of the situation; even during the painful and testing times when hope seems lost, the Lord extends His benefit to those who wait and trust Him. As Christians, waiting on God gives a higher value and new power to our prayers and worship because it links us to God. When times are challenging, and we have done all we can with no result, we should wait patiently for the LORD to aid and strengthen us. God has planted hope in the heart of every believer so we can build a strong relationship of love and trust in Him. If God has kept us alive up to this moment, then He must have an exceptional plan for us. Jeremiah 31:17 says, “And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border.”

Beloved, don’t write yourself off, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. The Bible says there is hope for you as long as you are still alive. As long as you have life, you can never stay in the same place for very long. Have hope because things will turn around for your good if you keep your faith active and live according to God’s will. Whether the devil likes it or not, you will change your level. You may be sick, homeless, jobless, childless, single, afflicted, beggarly, undocumented, or frustrated, never give up or give in. Don’t lose your hope for any reason, but look up to God, and He will restore you of all that the devil has stolen in this journey called life. God is not done with you yet, so don’t give up; your day of redemption is coming. No matter how hopeless you feel, there is hope for you. You might not be where you desire to be, but as long as you are alive, get ready, for a miracle is coming your way in Jesus’ Name. As long as you have Christ, there is hope for you. Jesus Christ is the Hope of Glory, the hope of the hopeless; only in Him can your lost hope be restored and renewed. Keep your hope alive in God and remind yourself of His total trustworthiness and faithfulness. He knows the situation you are in and all that you are facing. He won’t forsake you to face it alone. When you wait on God with hope, faith, and trust, He will come through for you. Remember, Christ Jesus offers everything you need; He is our hope amid hopelessness.

O Lord, help me not to lose hope in any situation as I depend on You to bring to pass Your promises through faith and patience in Jesus’ Name.
