Now, therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

God envisioned Israel as His treasured possession, a people with a distinct role in His grand design, worthy of His love and concern. To obey God’s voice is to embrace the essence of our faith, demanding sincerity, genuineness, and love. True obedience flows from a heart filled with love; it is pure and genuine, requiring both humility and courage. It’s no wonder that Apostle Peter declared in 1 Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” Total submission to the will of the Almighty sets us apart as peculiar people. Those who are God’s treasured possession obey His voice and walk in His ways; their ears are attuned to hear Him. God proclaims that those who follow Him will be recognized as a special people, esteemed above all others. Obedience bridges the gap between where we are now and where we are meant to be. As Abraham obeyed God, he became God’s cherished possession.
Beloved, confidently embrace the call to be His peculiar treasure, fully embodying what it means to belong to Him as you walk in obedience. Trust in God’s promises, rely on His strength, and let His Spirit guide and transform your life. Your unwavering commitment to Him powerfully reflects your desire to honor the covenant relationship and fulfill the purposes for which He has called you. Obey His voice completely; until your ear hears what God is saying and acts on it, you cannot grasp what He is giving. Instruction is vital, for it averts destruction. Your obedience to these instructions generates results, moving beyond mere knowledge. If you desire to live as a peculiar treasure to the Lord and invite the miraculous into your life, have unwavering faith in the God of miracles and obey Him wholeheartedly. Constant obedience will undoubtedly shield you from the fate of the disobedient. As long as you remain steadfast in God’s commands, your ascent to greatness is unstoppable. If you seek elevation, relentlessly pursue total obedience to all of God’s commandments. Every instruction, no matter how small, holds great significance! It’s those straightforward acts of obedience that will fortify your spiritual house. Therefore, stay resolute! Do not compromise your stand for God. Firmly resist distractions from the path of obedience. Be bold enough to reject all acts of unrighteousness. Actively nurture your relationship with Him through prayer, study of His Word, and adherence to His teachings. Manifest your love and devotion to God by fully committing to His covenant, acknowledging Him as your Lord and you as His people. Remember, it takes the grace of God to obey Him to the end, and you are just one instruction away from your next position in life.
O LORD, thank You for choosing me and calling me treasured. Help me to hear Your voice, and to keep Your covenant in Jesus’ Name.
