Trusting God’s Appointed Time

Psalm 102:13 (KJV)

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come.

The Psalmist boldly expressed the anguish caused by wicked oppressors and the relentless pursuit of the heathen against the children of God. However, he was unwavering in his confidence that the Lord would rise for His people, bringing an end to the distress and shame inflicted by their tormentors while bestowing abundant blessings upon Zion. The Psalmist recognized God as Sovereign and a faithful protector of His people. As part of this cherished group, we can be assured that God has a sovereign plan filled with compassionate care for us. As children of God, we draw inspiration from the Israelites of old, calling upon Him to intervene in our trials and shower us with favor. Life’s journey will inevitably present us with challenges and temptations, but we must fix our eyes solely on God for help. We can confidently ask Him to act on our behalf, confronting every obstacle that hinders our progress. Whatever battles we face, God is Sovereign, and He keeps His unwavering promise to protect and guide His people.

In a world often overshadowed by chaos and despair, we can find unwavering comfort in the assurance that God’s extension of mercy is always available and perfectly timed. God’s divine favor is not just a blessing, but a rare and extraordinary gift meticulously arranged for our lives. This favor is a direct endowment from His hand, and it is a privilege we receive when we prioritize God’s Kingdom. When we embrace the values and joys of the Kingdom as a way of life, God’s favor flows abundantly into our lives. It is this favor that elevates us in the Kingdom, for no one can fail when they walk in His grace. God’s favor actively propels our destinies forward, consistently leading us to unforeseen fortunes. Often, the limitless favor of God transcends our understanding and imagination, as it originates from the Eternal. It is crucial to remember that God’s favor is not based on our achievements or merits, but reflects His nature and the vital role we play in His plans. Joseph, who carried God’s favor with him through slavery and into imprisonment, ultimately became the second in command in the Egyptian kingdom. Esther seized a unique opportunity in the royal court of Shushan, all because of Divine favor. The removal of Queen Vashti was not a mere chance, but was part of God’s larger strategy to empower Esther to fulfill His purpose of delivering His people. God holds everything necessary for our lives in His capable hands. Therefore, connect with Him and watch as His favor transforms our journey. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Beloved, your time for divine favor has arrived, and no force can stand in its way. God is set to remember you, enabling you to surpass those who started their journeys long before you. It may have felt like God had overlooked you in the past, but now is your moment of Divine Favor. Whatever struggles and hardships you have faced will soon be behind you. Recognize this day as the turning point; the years of pain and agony are history! Do not let worry find a place in your heart. Prepare yourself to soar to new heights, for you have been chosen to ascend to the next level. Stand strong in your faith and step boldly into a life of favor and breakthroughs. Embrace God’s Favor today and for all the days ahead. This is your day! Trust in the certainty that God is alive, actively engaged in your journey, and poised to unveil His goodness at precisely the right moment. Just as the seasons shift, so too will your circumstances when God determines the timing is right. Remember, God does not forget the suffering of His people, and He acts in His appointed time.

O LORD, arise and favor me for the set time has come in Jesus’ Name.
