Matthew 18:18(KJV)
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
The Scripture is clear that ruling over circumstances is our heritage as children of God. We discover that every believer is being given the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven to bind the wicked spirits in heavenly places and to lose the angelic powers of God to work on our behalf. While on earth, Jesus demonstrated the authority and power God has bestowed on Him by walking in them. Having shown us what it is to be God’s children, He has empowered and mandated us to begin to operate as the children of God on earth because, as children of the Most High, we share in His power and authority. It is also good to know that every manifestation of the supernatural is the confirmation of the Word of God we have put to work. So, the Word we know and put to work is the force that commands the supernatural. Our authority as children of God includes the power to allow and forbid things. Through this power, we are to take charge of our Lord by enforcing the will of the Father on earth. We have the authority to forbid whatever contradicts our Father’s will in our health, family, business, job, community, and nation. The power of God working in us can make us what we really want to be.
As children of God, we have the authority to live a life of victory and to forbid the devil to torment us. We are the custodians of the master key, and we have got to use them to advance God’s Righteousness Will. We must understand this and start using the keys to superimpose God’s intentions in our sphere of influence. If we don’t do anything, Heaven will not. We are to lose God’s blessings upon our efforts and bind the evil works that come against the fruit of our labors. So, use the keys Jesus has passed to us to unlock doors, shut doors, change lives, save lives, heal the sick, raise the dead, and shut the mouth of the oppressors. To deal with spiritual gates and everlasting doors, we need spiritual weapons. Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” We’ve got the power over the enemy, and nothing is permitted to hurt us. Use the authority given just like a king will use his power to advance his course. Use the Master key to shut the door of sorrow the enemy had opened against us and open the door of victory and celebration that has closed against us.
Beloved, you have the authority to live a life of victory and to forbid and resist the devil. Use the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus has passed to you to lose God’s Blessings upon your life and bind the evil works from the pit of hell. The power is in you; activate it now by surrendering your life to the source of the power, Jesus. Put a stop to the devil’s work; cast him out in the Name of Jesus, and he will be gone! As a believer, you have total authority over the powers of satan. It’s up to you to use the authority God has given you. Put on the whole armor of God and exercise your God-given authority! You may come from different lands with different backgrounds, but Jesus Christ is Lord overall. And that alone is enough to alter the spiritual complexion of this earth. As you walk in your authority, you will experience His manifest power in every area of your life. God will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. Remember, you carry Heaven’s seal of approval; you have the power to bind the enemy and lose your blessings.
O Lord, by the power You have graciously given to me, I bind every work of the enemy established to fight my life, destiny, and family and lose my blessings in Jesus’ Name.
