Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?
From our anchored Scripture, we realize that no one can speak of what they want to happen in the present or future and have it that way, except God sanctions it. God plays a prominent role in every successful endeavor; no human effort would be sufficient if God is not involved (Psalm 127:1). Isaiah 7:7 says, “Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.” When it comes to the final say, only God holds that power. We can be entirely sure when God declares that something won’t stand. Despite the attempts of wicked and deceitful individuals to harm God’s children, we can rest assured that their schemes will not succeed. It is futile for anyone to believe they can defy God’s will and achieve success. God’s plans and purposes are unstoppable, and no force, regardless of its strength, can prevent God from accomplishing what He has set out to do.
The world we inhabit is fraught with malevolence orchestrated by the figure of the devil (satan) and his cohorts. Despite their ability to craft nefarious schemes and refine their wicked plots against the offspring of God, rest assured that their designs will not prosper nor come to fruition. We often formulate plans and establish objectives in our daily pursuits, hoping everything will unfold as anticipated. However, nothing occurs outside the purview of God’s sovereignty. God maintains control, even in the face of our plans going awry or unanticipated adversities arising. Recognizing God’s dominion can engender tranquility, particularly during times of uncertainty. His designs consistently manifest for our benefit, even when their purpose eludes us. It is in vain for any individual or collective to entertain the notion that they can contravene the will of God or operate devoid of His will and achieve success. Irrespective of pronouncements issued by medical professionals or any other party, God has the ultimate authority! God reigns as the Omnipotent force across our past, present, and future. The Word of the Lord in Isaiah 8:10 says, “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.”
Beloved, the Word of God is superior to any other word on earth, and nothing paralyzes satanic agenda like the power in the Word of God. The counsel of God can never fail in your life. God has the final say! Accept and believe only what God says about you. The threats or negative words of the enemy shall not stand in your life; God didn’t declare them. It does not matter what negative things anyone has said; everything is under control as long as God is not the One who said it. It does not matter what the doomsday prophecies about you are; if God did not say it and you refuse to believe it, you have no problem. For example, some might say you can never get married, have children, or succeed. It is only confirmed if you believe it. If you don’t, it will never come to pass. You will be successful and excel contrary to any negative pronouncement over your life in Jesus’ Name. The gang up against you will fail because it is not of God. Today, discard people’s negative opinions about your life. Only believe what God says about you in His Word. Do not allow yourself to be swayed, distracted, or discouraged by people’s negative opinions about you. Let the Word of God be your assurance today. The enemy does not have the final word! Remember, God is Who He was, Who He is, and Who He is to come.
O Lord, I reject every negative opinion and pronouncement about my life and destiny contrary to Your Word in Jesus’ Name.
