Wisdom Leads To God’s Favor

Proverbs 8:35 (KJV)

For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.

The Scripture mentioned above implies that finding wisdom leads to the favor of God. God is wisdom personified. Therefore, when we find wisdom, we have found God. Essentially, by prioritizing God and adhering to His commands, we can access life and unlock doors of divine favor. Wisdom is the seed from which righteousness is born. So diligent service to God guarantees His favor, which we, as His children, are meant to experience daily. It’s worth noting that God’s supernatural favor is not based on external factors such as personality, appearance, or background but on our relationship with Him. The experience of supernatural favor involves receiving preferential treatment, which is beyond the scope of explanation by natural laws. This favor is not based on our merit but on our faith in God and our relationship with Him. Once we become children of God, opportunities in life become natural and effortless, and we can enjoy God’s supernatural favor. It is written in Psalm 5:12, “For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.” It is essential to understand that God’s favor is real, but we need to find and know Him. God is committed to favoring the righteous.

Favor is an act of benevolence or generosity that exceeds the norm or the expected. Favor is considered one of the enigmatic virtues of the Kingdom that can be accessed by individuals willing to display obedience and dedication to God. Divine favor will distinguish us from many and cause us to stand out. As we seek God daily, always know that we have the advantage of enjoying His Supernatural Favor. Once we become children of God, opportunities in life become natural; favor becomes effortless. Many delight in wealth, status, material possessions, and other temporary things of the world, but they are never satisfied. However, when our satisfaction is in God, we become God’s favorite as He pours His Favor on us. Psalm 84:11 says, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” The Word of God promises that no good thing will He withhold, including His Favor from those who walk blamelessly before Him. Know that God is more than willing to bless His true children with favor and honor. However, we must serve Him faithfully. The Lord will cause His Favor to produce answers that will wipe away our tears in Jesus’ Name. Proverbs 12:2 “A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.”

Beloved, there are things you can do to be favored by God. Get wisdom; whatever you get, get insight because you obtain favor through wisdom. Today, take a bold decision by moving closer to God, and He will move closer to you as He blesses you. As you continue to serve Him and live righteously, God will bless and surround you with favor. Keep doing the right things to enjoy God’s promises and goodness. He will restore everything the enemy has stolen in your life so you can live the abundant life He has promised you. Today, be wise and seek God faithfully. Seek His Favor and stop cutting corners. Live a life pleasing to the One who has the heart of those meant to favor you, and you will not be denied your rights in Jesus’ Name. Remember, God will not treat the wicked and disobedient child the same way He treats the good and obedient child, and the latter will always find life and enjoy the favor of God.

O LORD, thank You for Your Grace, Mercy, and Everlasting favor. I receive abundant life and favor in Jesus’ Name.
