You Will Not Be Ashamed!

Psalm 25:3(KJV)
Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
Patience with God is the ability to trust and wait on God in all seasons, even when the reason does not present itself to wait on Him. This is very important because those who wait on the Lord never waste in life, because waiting gives us access to divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding. This is the way it works when God is in control, those who wait on Him will never be ashamed. God is not a man, He can never be late because He knows the end from the beginning. Waiting on God is mostly an attitude of the heart. One that is fully aware that God is everything and we are nothing without Him. The proof that we trust Him is our ability to wait patiently in prayer. We must pray and wait for the coming of the Lord.
Waiting is hard work especially when you do not know how long you are to wait. It can be a test of faith. Waiting patiently is simply not possible unless we trust that God’s Character is without blemish and that He is good. When you wait it makes you more humble and prevents you from taking decisions that will bring you shame, like Samson. Isaiah 49:23b says “and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.” When we place our hope in Him with complete confidence knowing that as we humbly listen and follow His Voice, we will never be put to shame. Your hope in God brings out the confidence in you. When it seems like God is making us wait, it is because the glory that is coming with it will be great. Elizabeth and Zechariah had to wait until six months before Jesus was to be born because their first child, John the Baptist, was to be one of the greatest prophets that ever lived on earth. As children of God, we don’t have to worry about shame, because of our hope in the Blood of Jesus. We are covered by His sacrifice! Not because of our good works, but through the grace of God. Shame will always belong to those who trust in their own ability and forget there is God.
Beloved, there is reward for those who patiently wait for God in all things. Wait in faith after you have prayed. Trust in His perfect timing, for He is never too late or too early. Don’t look for alternatives while waiting, stay put with God. Remind yourself always that no one trust in, wait for or hope in the LORD is brought to shame. Today, all may be lost, facing some terrible things or having some difficulties, just trust in the LORD and wait for His Word to be fulfilled in your life. Your trust in the LORD can never be in vain, you will never ever be put to shame. Cultivate the habit of waiting upon the Lord in praise, worship and prayer regularly and you will be loaded with the abundant blessings it attracts. Remember, your attitude while waiting can seriously influence whether you will be victorious or not.
O LORD, thank You for Your Word, grant me patience to wait for You in all things in Jesus’ Name
