And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.

Though many may critique our choices and misinterpret them as unforgiveness or bitterness, we must resist the enemy and use every opportunity to share the Gospel. 1 Corinthians 10:32 says, “Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God.” As Christians, we will face provocations from all sides, especially from those closest to us, but let us not allow any negative influence to embitter our hearts. When our relationships with God and others are free from offense, we will reach our destined paths and fulfill our God-given potential on earth.
Beloved, living with a conscience free from offense is a beautiful journey, a commitment to holiness rooted in love for God and others. Offense never originates from God; He desires for you to be anchored in love. When someone attempts to offend you, they challenge your direction and the integrity of your spirit. Resist the temptation and refuse to harbor bitterness. The enemy targets your joy by sending provocations your way. Do not give him a foothold. Those you’ve prayed for may turn against you. The very ones you’ve nurtured can try to undermine you. It’s common for those you’ve supported financially to lash out. Prepare yourself for resistance from those you’ve helped, and guard your heart against bitterness. Jesus cautioned that sorrow awaits the offender; therefore, regardless of circumstances, dismiss feelings of offense and embrace joy. Maintaining your composure is a true mark of spiritual maturity. Ensure there are no hidden grudges in your heart. Seek God’s grace to respond to offenses with love. Forgiving others frees you from all forms of bondage. Choose love over offense today. Pursue God wholeheartedly, serving Him with a clean heart. Forgive even before being wronged. Let each day be an opportunity to cultivate a pure conscience grounded in truth. Strive for clarity of conscience as you pray, meditate on the Word, and fellowship with believers. Remember, sin lays the groundwork for calamity; unrighteousness leads to destruction, and compromise opens the door to danger.
