Divine Connection

Genesis 40:4-5(KJV)

And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season inward. And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.

There are specific people who God has positioned to cross our path at every stage of our lives to make our journey smooth. God places people strategically in our lives to help bring to pass a promise or a future event that is pre-ordained. It is commonly referred, as divine appointments or divine connections. Throughout the Bible, God uses these connections, for example, Ruth and Naomi, David and Jonathan, Elijah and Elisha, and Paul and Timothy, to bring people into their destiny. The life of Joseph changed when he met the cupbearer in prison. Although he was forgotten for full 2 years, all the same, it was the connection that propelled Joseph to become prime minister in Egypt. Joseph interpreting the cupbearer’s dream in prison connected him to Pharaoh in the palace to interpret the dreams of Pharaoh.

A divine connection is a supernatural act of God whereby He links up two or more people together to fulfill their destinies. They are God-breathed relationships that seemingly come out of nowhere and have the potential to impact our lives. In other words, they are vital to fulfilling the call of God in our lives. These connections are there to encourage, support, celebrate, promote, empower us and pray for and with us. It is written in Psalm 37:23 that, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” Divine connections are priceless. Because God uses these relationships to direct us to our destinies, thereby bringing increase to us. We will see His guidance with those He connects us when the Spirit of God is moving and leading. We must recognize divine connections because they rarely come packaged the way we expect. The fulfillment of God’s purpose for our lives and the fulfillment of God’s destiny He has planned for each of us will greatly depend on us divinely connecting with certain people and ministries. God has and will continue to bless us with divine connections. The question is will we recognize them? Ecclesiastes 9:11 says “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”

Beloved, the opportunity to meet the right people to advance your career or to fulfill your dreams will come together for your good. God has already prearranged for your times of increase, promotion, and blessings. He created you with a purpose, for a purpose, and to be successful! God has marked moments already laid out that are going to come across your path. Never worry or be depressed about you not winning right now but continue to look up to God for His blessings for your life because the fastest runner does not always win the race nor the battle to the strong. I pray for you today that God will give you divine connections that will confound everyone who hears about it in Jesus’ Name. To be divinely connected, add virtue and brotherly kindness to your faith because faith without work is dead. Renew your relationship with the Lord and let holiness become your watchword. Endeavor to please Him in all your ways, and then you will experience divine connection. Today, open your eyes of faith and see the good things God has in store for your future. Thank Him for what He is doing and continue to do.

O Lord, thank You for the divine connections in my life and Your willingness to fulfill every dream and desire You have placed in your heart.  Connect me divinely in Jesus’ Name.
