Faith Guarantees Settlement

Hebrews 11:8-10(KJV)

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith, he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

We understand from the Scriptures that our settlement as believers is crucial to God. That is why the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:10 “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” It is vital to know that only God can perform whatever He says. Because with Him, all things are possible. However, without faith, we cannot take delivery of the promises of God. That is, faith plays a vital role in getting settled by God. It is written in Isaiah 14:24 that “The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand.” So, it is our faith in the settled Word of God that guarantees our settlement in life. In other words, faith is the covenant force that warrants our restoration.

God has a plan of settlement for us, but without faith, we can never access them. For instance, Abraham, the father of faith, looked forward to the settlement of God. Abraham trusted God to leave his home and went far away to another place promised him by God. Abraham obeyed because he had faith in God to bring him to that strong heavenly city whose designer and builder is God. The challenges of Abraham were insignificant because he knew that only God could settle him by taking him to that city and giving it to him. His faith affected the lives of Isaac and Jacob. When the woman with the issue of blood grafted herself to Jesus Christ through her faith, she tapped into His virtue, and the flow of blood ceased. Blind Bartimaeus by faith was settled by God immediately. Similarly, when we engage our faith, we are grafted into God and become partakers of His divine nature, thereby commanding the authority of God over the issues of life.

Beloved, without doubt, and with faith in your heart, God will settle you. Whatever is not working, whatever is flip-flopping in your life, God is about to fix and establish it. It is your moment, and God is about to do some settling concerning your life. Your business and marriage will begin to work out; God is taking you to that dream house and job. Your delay has come to an end. From today everyone who has taken advantage of you, used or despised you, will begin to look up to you. In this season of settlement, get ready to receive the glory you deserve. Get prepared to see all your problems get terminated in the blink of an eye in Jesus’ Name. Uncommon manifestations and experiences will become your portion! By the time God is done settling you, you will become exceptional. When the Bible talks about suffering for a while, only God determines the length of time. So, never use your mental imagination to calculate it.

O LORD, grant me the faith to arrive in my season of Divine Settlement in Jesus’ Name.
