God Will Make You Fruitful

Leviticus 26:9-10(KJV)

For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

In Leviticus 26, God assures blessings for obedient Israel and curses for disobedient Israel. He promises to make the obedient fruitful, multiply, and establish His covenant with His children. God has a specific plan for His people, and His thoughts toward them are peace, progress, and prosperity. As God’s children, we are privileged to be sheltered from the misfortunes that the rest of the world endures, and this is because God has pledged to fulfill His covenant with us. A covenant is a formal agreement or contract between two or more parties, and God fulfills His promises when we meet the conditions attached to the covenant. God can’t break this covenant because He cannot lie or break His promises. He keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him and keeps His commandments for a thousand generations. Psalm 89:34-35 says, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.”

We serve a covenant-keeping God, Who has left for us a Book of covenants for anyone interested in any of His provisions. As He deals with humanity, especially His chosen people, He demonstrates His Faithfulness and Mercy. God wants to bless and multiply us. Genesis 17:7 says, “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” We are to know without fear or favor that the Lord our God is a covenant-keeping God. His promises to us stand sure and His covenant to a thousand generations. He wants to increase us above and beyond what we could ever ask, think or imagine. God is a Divine Provider and a supernatural Supplier who promises to give us a surplus. For God to pour down His Blessings upon us so that we will not have enough room to contain them, the windows of Heaven must open. In other words, God’s commandment opens the windows of Heaven to us for the showers of His Blessings. When Heavens open unto us, we will enjoy supernatural breakthroughs and write the obituaries of our Goliaths. Unfortunately, many do not experience God’s best because of their unbelief, disobedience, rebellion, and backsliding. Scripture re-emphasizes that our misfortune in life is rooted in our disobedience to the fundamental laws of God( Deuteronomy 28:15).

Beloved, understand your role in the covenant and play that role to the best of your ability. Your greatest aspiration in life should be a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ, to enjoy this covenant. Jesus said loving God was the first and greatest commandment. Ensure that the Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall never want. As you serve and live for God, every need of your life as a child of God is adequately taken care of. He cares for you and promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Holding on to yesterday will keep you from God’s best. Instead, make room for the new harvest because He has abundant blessings prepared for you. Today, meditate on the Word, speak it, and it will produce in your life in Jesus’ Name! If you want to see desired results, keep doing everything God requires. And if you do this, no one, including the devil, can stop you from seeing what God wants you to see. Remember, the Lord will favor you, and His Glory will be evident in your life; no good thing, including healing and health, purity and power, provision and prosperity, will He withhold from you as you walk uprightly with Him.

O LORD, thank You for Your Word. Establish Your covenant in my life, and have Your Way in my life in Jesus’ Name.
