Faithful Is He

1 Thessalonians 5:24(KJV)

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

It is evident that our God is Faithful in all things. He is dependable and trustworthy. Circumstances and life issues may try to prove otherwise. However, the fact remains that our God is Faithful. He is faithful and righteous to fulfill all His promises to those called, chosen, and all who trust His Word. His covenant of faithfulness is the sure foundation on which all our faith securely rests. 1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” The plea to hold onto the hope is the faithfulness of God promising salvation and the return of His Son, Jesus Christ. God will not fail to accomplish His promises, including our eternal life in Christ. It is God’s promise that gives us our sure hope. He is faithful and true and always keeps His Word as a perfect Father. God’s Word is unquestionable. It is always right, holy, and trustworthy; His Word is more than enough. His covenant of faithfulness is the sure foundation on which all our faith securely rests.

By these wonderfully reassuring words, God assures us that He will not abandon, fail or ignore His purpose for redeeming us. God will fulfill His Promises concerning our lives because His Faithfulness follows His Instructions and Commandments. His conditional promises have been kept, depending on our meeting of His conditions. God remembered His people during their deliverance from Egypt and did not forget the remnant during the Babylonian captivity. Through the coming of Christ, He fulfilled all of the Messianic promises in the Old Testament. In the journey of life, obeying His commandments will cause us to see His Faithfulness. Therefore, we must be confident that nothing can stop God’s plan from being fulfilled. We enjoy His backing through His Divine Plan, prevailing without sweat where others toil. So, if He called us to be pastors, prophets, nurses, administrators, doctors, or teachers, we would see His Faithfulness in that direction. In other words, when God sends us on a mission, the unction required to deliver accompanies us. It is written in Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” With Him on our side, we will prevail.

Beloved, God is the Caller, and as He has called you, He will also fulfill His promises concerning your life and complete the work He began in you. You have a firm foundation for your faith; God will not leave or forsake you. He is not a man to lie. The Lord is the Doer of all things, so if the Lord called you, all things concerning your life will work for your good according to His riches in Christ Jesus. Do not shy away from God’s calling, for He will move you from survival to success. Hold tightly without wavering to the hope you affirm, for God is faithful to keep His promise. You’ve got to be determined and stand firm. You’ve got to persevere and hold fast to the profession of your faith! He is faithful and will make all provisions for your calling. When God sees your capacity, He releases supply. Nothing is too hard for Him! Today, embrace God’s promises. Call on Him, for He who promised you is faithful. Hold onto what God says, and know that God will always come through for you on His promises. He will never let you down or leave you. Be confident that you will see the goodness of God in your life, for God alone can establish you. Remember, God is reliable; you can count on Him even when you are not faithful to move in and through you.

O Lord, help me to experience Your Faithfulness on my journey on earth. Today, show, teach, and reveal what You want me to do in Jesus’ Name.
