Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV)
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
The will of God for us is to live sickness and disease-free life. Therefore, sicknesses, diseases, pains, and sufferings are not the will of God for us; He desires a healthy life for us. We also understand from the Scriptures that mastery over ailments and diseases is factual and is expected to be the lifestyle of every child of God. Without any doubt, health stands out as the greatest asset of life. Living a healthy life is one of the wonders of divine blessings. The Lord says He will restore our health and heal our wounds. The knowledge of truth is vital to deliverance because truthfulness facilitates freedom, and the truth is God’s desire for us to live a life free of sicknesses and diseases. Christ also paid for our healing, health, and wholeness. The Bible says in Matthew 8:17, “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” Jesus came to the earth to buy back for us everything that Adam lost, sickness and disease included. He bore our sickness, diseases, and infirmities on the Cross so that we enjoy divine healing and health.
God does not only want us to be spiritually strong but physically, mentally, psychologically, and emotionally healthy. When we are hurt, God is hurt because He has already fully paid the price for our total health. Isaiah 53: 4-5 says, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” When He suffered at the hands of the guards, He paid the price for our divine health. He secured our good health with each stripe of flesh torn from His back. So, we can’t be enslaved again by any sickness or disease. By this, we are not sick trying to get healed, but we are the ones Jesus has already healed that the devil is trying to make sick. The provision for our healing, physically and spiritually, is made by the sufferings of Jesus Christ. Christ has triumphed over sicknesses so that no affliction can stay in our bodies. There is total restoration of all rights and privileges once we receive Him as Lord of our lives.
Beloved, God promises to restore your health and heal your wounds. He who has the power to revive the weak, heal the sick, and bring back the dead is the ultimate conqueror of every ailment. His services are priceless and require no monetary compensation. Therefore, you cannot serve God and be sick. It is about time you believe the truth of God’s Word about your healing: By His stripes, the gift of healing is yours. Refuse to be sick and make bold and positive declarations concerning good health. As a child of the Almighty God, sickness is not your portion. Jesus has paid the price; you have a right to be healed and live in divine health. Divine health is part of your salvation package, so accept nothing less. Once you receive Him as Lord of your life, all the rights and privileges God originally intended you to have (including health and prosperity) receive immediate attention. In the Name of Jesus, I command every sickness, disease, and infirmity to leave your body right now. From the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, anything not working begins to work now. It starts to function in the perfection to which God has created it, for the bread of healing belongs to the children of God (Mark 7:26-30). Surrender your life in totality to the Lord Jesus Christ today, and He will prove to you that He is indeed the Great Physician. Make demand by speaking the Word of God in faith that sickness and disease leave you now in the Name of Jesus. Refuse to back off that command, for faith-filled words change everything. They’ll move mountains into the sea and turn sickness into health. Resist the devil with all you have got. When Jesus said it is finished on the Cross, it perfected your health. Remember, you are not permitted to go through what others go through.
O Lord, thank You for restoring my health and healing my wounds. In Jesus’ Name, I am free from every affliction.
