Psalm 2:2-4 (KJV)
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, And cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.
Our anchored Scripture boldly declares that the Lord laughs at any plot against His anointed; no harm can overcome them. We recognize that we live in a world filled with increasing wickedness and danger. However, the good news is that, regardless of how threatening circumstances become, God will deliver His anointed during these times. This Scripture clearly shows that we serve a God who is eternally committed to safeguarding His anointed, where nothing is impossible. No matter the challenges we face, God’s Word is everlasting and will surely come to pass. Our covenant-keeping God provides, protects, preserves, and meticulously plans for the wellbeing of His anointed. We stand firm in the knowledge that we are preserved by an ever-Powerful and Faithful God. Psalm 89:20, 23 says, “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.”
The anointing of God sets us apart from the world, unleashes His gifts within us, and equips us to overcome our adversaries. Scripture makes it unmistakably clear that God stands as a defender for His anointed. When anyone confronts His chosen servants, they are directly opposing Him. 1 Samuel 26:9 says, “…….. for who can put out his hand against the LORD’s anointed and be guiltless?” In the spirit realm, some people are undeniably God’s anointed, rendering them untouchable. They are surrounded by the consuming fire of God, making them too formidable for even the devil to approach. Just like an unseen electric current flowing through a cable can be deadly upon contact, the anointing embodies a protective force that annihilates the enemies of the anointed and breaks all demonic yokes. It’s a misguided belief among those who reject God and His commandments that they possess superior knowledge compared to the Creator. They might attempt to impose their flawed ideas and ideals on how society should operate, but such efforts are consistently met with futility. Their plans rarely unfold as intended. Those who twist God’s teachings and engage in deception will inevitably face the consequences of their disobedience. Their actions will not escape justice, as God will unleash His wrath upon them in due time. The Creator of all knows what is best, and His ways are unassailable. Therefore, choosing to follow God’s path is not just wise; it is the only choice that makes sense.
Beloved, no matter how difficult or overwhelming your situation may feel, God cares deeply for you. He hasn’t forgotten about you, no matter how big your problems are. Because God reigns, you can face uncertainty with confidence, knowing His purposes will prevail. God is always on time, ready to support you through any challenges you face. His Sovereignty should encourage you to rest in His unshaken throne amid worldly chaos. He is your true protector, always watching over you and defending you against negativity and harm. Whatever struggles others endure, God promises they won’t bring you down. Even if you feel powerless, God is there to fight for you. So today, don’t carry your burdens alone. Bring everything to God in prayer, and find comfort in His embrace. You will surely have reasons to celebrate as your hopes and dreams will not be ignored. Trust in God’s authority and take heart in the knowledge that He is in charge. Live confidently and boldly, knowing that when you stand with God, you are on the winning team. No matter how powerful human opposition may seem, God’s authority remains supreme, and rebellion against Him is ultimately futile. Let this knowledge empower you as you face each day! Remember, human schemes do not threaten God, for He is enthroned and unshaken.
O LORD, thank You for Your anointing upon my life. Help me to submit joyfully to Your rule, trusting that no power on earth can overthrow Your plans in Jesus’ Name.
