Isaiah 14:24 (KJV)
The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand.
It is abundantly clear from Scripture that our Lord God is a God of both plan and purpose. We are the embodiments of His divine intention. Everything on earth is moving toward the predetermined fulfillment of God’s eternal purpose with remarkable precision and accuracy. Regardless of our beliefs, every creation has an inherent plan and purpose, as He meticulously attends to every detail. God’s actions are always preceded by careful planning; nothing is done without a clear and deliberate design. Jeremiah 1:4-5 says, “Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” God has a remarkable overarching plan into which His specific plan for each of us seamlessly fits. Each of us is uniquely created, truly one of a kind. While the devil and his agents may try to impose their plans upon us, the purpose and counsel of God reign supreme over any other agenda, for God’s Word, Plan, and Counsel for our lives will always prevail and never fail.
The truth is that God’s purpose for our lives is far greater than anything any man, woman, witch, or wizard has declared or intended. His purpose is more powerful than any weapon of war, whether physical or spiritual. The Bible says in Isaiah 46:10, “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” It doesn’t matter what anyone else does or says; when God says yes, no one can say no. What He has ordained will prevail, for His purpose is unshakeable, and no one can alter His divine plan. Regardless of people’s wishes or the schemes the enemy might devise against our loved ones or us, it is only God’s intentions for us that will ultimately stand. In the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges, we can have complete confidence in God’s sovereign plan for our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Let us not become overly consumed by the events around us, for no force on earth can thwart the purpose of God. God is the Sovereign Ruler of all things and the Controller of every moment, and His plan and purpose will prevail despite human arrogance and schemes. Nothing can prevent us from receiving what He has already ordained for eternity.
Beloved, rest assured that only the purpose of the Lord will prevail in your life and in the lives of your loved ones. God holds the final say; no man, woman, or any agent of the devil can alter what He has ordained. Embrace and believe what God declares about you. The negative words of others hold no weight unless God Himself is the one speaking them. Regardless of what others may plan against you, if God isn’t behind those plans, they will not affect you. Your belief in their negativity is the only thing that can give them power. So, fix your eyes on God’s promises, not the enemy’s lies. Even if it appears that you’re lagging behind, hold onto this truth: God holds your future in His hands and knows how it all unfolds. His plan never ends in defeat. You are destined to succeed and excel, irrespective of any negative declarations made against you. Today, discard the enemy’s negative opinions and firmly believe what God asserts about you in His Word. Stand steadfast in the face of distractions and discouragement; do not let the negative opinions, plots, or schemes of others sway you. God has crafted an unstoppable plan for your life that no one and nothing can thwart. You can confidently rest in His faithfulness to manifest His purpose for you because He loves you and is always by your side. Engage with His Word to uncover His purpose for your life. No matter how severe the trials or challenges you face, God possesses a sovereign plan for you. He knows how your story concludes, and it culminates in peace, joy, and victory across every facet of your life! Remember, when you place your life in God’s hands, you confidently navigate challenges, knowing that your circumstances are under His watchful care, for His intentions are unwavering and will undoubtedly come to fruition.
O Lord, thank You for Your purpose for my life. I reject every plan and purpose of the enemy contrary to Your Word in Jesus’ Name.
