Ezekiel 36:11 (KJV)
And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
The anchored Scripture is a powerful promise of restoration, abundance, and surpassing prosperity from God. Though the Israelites faced exile due to their disobedience, God, in His boundless mercy, promises to settle and bless them abundantly. Divine settlement is the experience of deliverance from our challenges, struggles, and pains, it’s God’s way of compensating us. After enduring years of oppression from heathen oppressors, the Lord assured the Israelites that He would settle them. He promised that the land of Israel would flourish once again, its cities rebuilt, men and beasts multiplied, never again vulnerable to destruction or the reproach of the heathen. In settling the Israelites, God pledged that they would thrive beyond their beginnings. Divine settlement from God grants us freedom from the captivity and strongholds of our enemies. When God settles His children, they are liberated from satanic oppression and torment, blessed with the very best. When God intervenes in our circumstances, He wipes away our tears. With His involvement in our lives, every obstacle becomes surmountable, and the forces of Heaven transform our difficulties into miracles, trials into triumphs, and tests into testimonies. Everything becomes possible for us, turning our challenges into mere history.
In a world filled with brokenness and uncertainty, the promise of God’s settlement, faithfulness, and abundance brings us immense comfort and encouragement. By trusting in His promises, we can uncover hope and assurance amidst our challenges and struggles. Just as the desolate land is promised restoration and flourishing, we too can look forward to a brighter tomorrow. Throughout the Bible, we witness God settling His children in remarkable ways. In Genesis 21:1-2, against all odds, Sarah was blessed with the fruit of the womb and bore Abraham a son in her old age. Hannah and Elizabeth also experienced the joy of overcoming barrenness. After enduring hardships in Egypt, Joseph was divinely settled, rising to the position of second-in-command, the first Prime Minister of Egypt. In Job 42:10-16, God restored everything that Job had lost after years of tragedy. When we are settled, all our rights and privileges once denied or taken from us are returned. In Luke 5:5-6, Simon Peter’s faith led him to let down his net after a night of toiling without success, resulting in an abundant catch. God will compensate us for the loss of glory, comfort us, and restore us to a place of peace and rest. Be ready to see all our problems get settled!
Beloved, trust in God’s plans for your settlement and embrace the abundant blessings He has prepared for you believing in Him. He longs to rebuild what is broken in your life and restore what seems lost, settling you in places of peace and abundance beyond your past experiences. God is ready to compensate you fully for all the adversities you’ve faced. So, refrain from rushing into human settlements when God’s genuine plan awaits you. Any attempt to secure your own settlement without His guidance could lead to dire consequences. There is a set time for your settlement; wait patiently for it. Today, be assured that God has heard your cries, and He sees you exactly where you are and is deeply concerned. Do not confuse His perceived silence with inactivity, for He is diligently working on your behalf to elevate you to the next level. Commit to serving God and adopt a God-first mentality in all pursuits. Give your life to Christ, and He will step into your situation. Allow God His rightful place, and He will position you according to His plan for you. You do not have to face life’s battles alone; call on Him today, and He will intervene and settle you. Hold steadfast to God’s Word and Promises. Embracing the promise of a fresh start can help you see beyond your current pain and anticipate a future filled with joy and blessings. Through faith and perseverance, you will overcome suffering and rediscover happiness. Keep your faith until the end. Remember to seek God in your desolation and trust that He desires to multiply your life with abundance.
O Lord, restore what has been lost and settle me, shaping me to reflect Your faithfulness in Jesus’ Name.
