Jeremiah 10:12 (KJV)
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
Jeremiah extolled the magnificence of the Living God’s power. He proclaimed that God created the entire earth by His mighty hand, established the world through His wisdom, and stretched the heavens with His understanding. The Almighty God, in His infinite knowledge, brought forth the heavens and earth by His power. The vastness and intricacy of the earth are not products of chance but the deliberate creation of a God who is all-capable and all-knowing. When God speaks, creation responds (Genesis 1:3-4). He sustains all things by His Word. Indeed, all power in Heaven and on earth belongs to Him. One cannot help but marvel at the greatness of the Almighty. God is supreme, mighty, and the source of all existence. His invisible attributes are evident throughout the world. Psalms 135:6 says, “Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.” Our God possesses boundless power and resources, performing wonders as He sees fit. In His infinite wisdom and authority, He acts as He pleases because He is God, and power resides solely in Him. It’s a humbling thought that the same power that shaped the earth is actively at work in our lives today, molding our circumstances and guiding our journeys.
In today’s turbulent world, where chaos and uncertainty often reign, understanding God’s power and wisdom is essential, for the Power of God is one of the greatest assets we can possess. Through His strength, we can triumph in the battles of life. We can trust that just as God established the earth, His wisdom and discretion guide our lives. Every moment and every situation is under His watchful care. Darkness holds no regard for our titles, education, or background; it is only the power of God that prevails. Thus, we must seek the power of God to overcome the forces of darkness. Psalm 62:11 says, “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” All power belongs to God, and companying with the great God causes us to experience His greatness. We serve a great and mighty God, the mighty-breasted One. By His Power, mountains tremble, the earth shakes, and wonders beyond human comprehension unfold. In the face of life’s uncertainties, we anchor our souls in the unwavering truth of God’s power, wisdom, and loving guidance. Psalms 66:3 says, “Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.” The greatness of God’s Power instills a holy fear in His enemies, compelling them into submission. Just as God’s Power forced Pharaoh to let go of the Israelites, it empowers His children to prevail over any threat posed by the enemy and banishes fear of the future. God’s Power and Strength deliver us from both spiritual and physical attacks and the schemes of satan seeking to bind us.
Beloved, all power belongs to God, unique in His authority, goodness, and wisdom. His sovereignty is evident as He does what pleases Him. When you witness the order of the seasons, the complexity of life, or the vastness of the sky, remember that the same power that formed the world is alive in you. Engage Him in every battle or confrontation, for with God on your side, you are more than a conqueror. Surrender your boastful strength to Him, allowing His power to lead in all you do. At the end of yourself, you find a new beginning with God. Never underestimate His ability to turn your situation around and grant you victory in all life’s battles. God’s power can overcome any circumstance, no matter how hopeless it seems. When you call upon the Awesome God, you invoke His limitless power. Trust in His strength when situations feel out of control; the One who formed the earth can hold your circumstances. The Omnipotent God will perform wonders and reveal His glory in your life. Honor Him by believing that nothing is too difficult for Him. Seek God’s wisdom in your decisions instead of relying solely on your plans, for His perspective is broader and steadier. Pray and activate the power within you today. Remember, in God’s delivering power, there is victory, for in His strength and wisdom, setbacks and disappointments cannot prevail!
