Walk In God’s Way

Isaiah 30:21(KJV)

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

We understand from the Scriptures that God is committed and ready to offer direction to as many as are willing to be led. One expression of God’s Graciousness is His Promise to guide us by His Spirit. Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” The work of the Holy Spirit is not limited to comforting us. He also guides us into all truth and abundance. Understanding His leading will land us in our high places and path in destiny. Wherever God is taking us, we can be rest assured that we are heading for a glorious destiny. He will lead us so clearly and convincingly that we can guarantee the outcome of our choices even before we embark on them. Nothing is as safe as allowing God to direct us in every area of our lives. Apostle John at the island of Patmos said, I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet. Until we are in the spirit, we are not permitted to hear anything from God because God’s Spirit speaks to our spirits, not our flesh.

God has created every one of us with great potential. The unwavering grace and mercy of God towards us is an unassailable truth. It is His unwavering desire to place our complete trust in Him and tune our ears to His guidance in every aspect of our lives. God has a unique purpose for us and is wholly committed to leading us towards it. However, our obedience to His direction is of paramount importance. God is omniscient and can anticipate the obstacles that might impede our journey. He is eager to lead us around them or empower us to overcome them. Still, unfortunately, many people do not realize this potential because they refuse to follow the guidance of the Creator. Many people experience daily losses simply because they have not trusted the guidance of the Almighty God, who knows everything (Proverbs 3:5- 6). It brings great pain to God when His children refuse His guidance. We can easily stumble and fall when we decide to listen to outside voices, but there is always the Way. In today’s society, we hear so many voices with so many commands to go in so many directions, but God has put a promise inside every one of us and has also given us the freedom to choose the direction we would like to walk in. But He says that man’s way is not in himself, and he alone cannot direct his own steps. We must trust what God says when faced with decisions that seek to make us go right or left.

Beloved, seeking directions from God shows how important you place Him in your life. Until that phrase becomes your daily confession, you are yet to be led by our Creator. Be encouraged today, listen for His Voice, choose Him, and stay the course. You may be tired, discouraged, and tempted to be frustrated, but don’t give up on your future. Stay on the high road, for our God is faithful and trustworthy to those who will trust Him. You may think it is taking a long time, but what He has started in your life, He will also finish it. Don’t follow the crowd; be led by the Spirit of God to deliver your glorious destiny. He says whenever you turn to the right or the left, He is right there to direct your way. You may be tempted, fooled, or frustrated into going the wrong way, but even in that instance, His Grace is sufficient for you. Today, partner with God, and He will guide you in every area of your life for your own good. It’s not too late to retrace your steps in God through His Word. Make up your mind to walk in the light of His Word, and you’ll experience His Glory in your life like you never thought possible. Let Him be your Guide. Always be thankful to God for patiently directing your life, day-by-day, step-by-step, as you trust Him and listen for His voice. Remember, God is still speaking to His children; learn to hear from Him and obey His Voice.

O Lord, help me focus on You and Your Voice in this life journey in Jesus’ Name.
