Walk In Power

1 Corinthians 4:20 (KJV)

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

It is undeniable that the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of Power. True spiritual authority and impact lie not merely in eloquent speech but in the transformative Power of God. For those who are believers in Christ and have been called to ministry, walking in Divine Power is not just a choice but a necessity. Without it, overcoming the challenges of life and ministry is impossible because the devil only responds to the language of Power. In fact, it is the only language he understands. Christianity without Power is nothing more than a powerless religion. It is written in Psalms 66:3, “Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.” God’s Power is so immense that even His enemies bow before Him. When God’s Power begins to flow through us, it goes far beyond us. It causes the enemy to surrender. It is for other people: the needy, the sick, the impoverished, those in captivity, and everyone who needs a miracle from God.

Encountering the all-powerful God sets the powerful Christians apart from the powerless ones. By encountering God, we acquire a unique Power through the Holy Ghost, which is not only reserved for preachers but for every child of God. The Holy Spirit is the authentic source of this Power. With this Power, we become enviable personalities and are able to realize our destiny. Divine Power is indispensable to actualizing our lives’ Divine plan and purpose. We can only live a successful mountaintop life or produce signs and wonders with the Power of the Holy Spirit. It took God’s Power for Pharaoh to submit and let go of the Israelites. Darkness has no respect for title, education, or background, only the Power of God. It’s not about being eloquent; our eloquence must be backed up by God’s power to be effective in the lives of His people. As children of God, we need Power to subdue the forces of darkness. When we operate in Power, demons will see us and not like to come close to us. We need Power and fire to overcome the challenges of life. The enemy will always want to stand in the way of the Divine plan, so we must grow in Divine Power. If we lose Power, we lose influence and destiny. Men who lack this Power will inevitably degrade the Gospel. Powerlessness will make the enemy ridicule a believer. Many give time to pursue education, career, business, marriage, money, and parenting. All these are good, but when we ignore the need to acquire God’s Power to help our lives and destinies, the enemy will steal, kill, and destroy all those things quickly, even when we are fortunate enough to acquire them.

Beloved, God has given Power to His children to enable them to flow in His great Power at the fullness of time. Power from on High is always available to the children of God, and that Power has to be demonstrated in your life. But you shall receive Power, after that the Holy Ghost comes upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. God has filled you with Power through the Holy Spirit. It is time for the Body of Christ to wake up and start walking and moving in the Power of the Holy Ghost. Desire to walk in Power, push yourself to acquire Divine Power. It is not possible to be a child of God without Power. The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Provoke His Hand by striving to attain adequate Power to take command over every life issue. Recognize that you can do nothing in your own strength, so submit and surrender to God and embrace the spiritual truth that God’s Power is perfect in your weakness. Today, receive the Power of God to function anywhere you find yourself now in Jesus Mighty Name. Remember, Christianity becomes sweet when you walk in Divine Power.

O Lord, I reject powerlessness and all its consequences; baptize me with Power and Fire now in Jesus’ Name.
