Exodus 15:26 (KJV)
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
In our anchored Scripture, God introduces Himself as Jehovah-Rapha, which means “I am the God Who heals.” God promised us that if we, His children, keep His commandments, statutes, and judgments and do them, He would take away sickness from us and not put diseases on us. Promises are made and broken, but we have a Father who keeps all His promises and a Friend who will never let us down. It is His Will for us to live a sickness and disease-free life. Jeremiah 33:6 says, “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.” Living a healthy life is one of the wonders of divine blessings. The Lord says He will bring us health and cure our sickness and disease, revealing the abundance of peace and truth. Beyond making sure we don’t fall sick again, God is so gracious that He can allow His healing virtue to start flowing through us. The knowledge of truth is vital to deliverance. Truth facilitates freedom, and the truth is that God’s desire for us is to live a life free of sicknesses and diseases.
The foundation of health and healing is undoubtedly trusting God and obeying His commandments. God affirms that He is the source of healing, not just in an isolated illness or need. By proclaiming Himself as Jehovah-Rapha, He declares, “Healing is what I am.” He is the ultimate Restorer and our Healer, who mends not only the physical body but also the emotional and spiritual wounds. Whenever we feel overwhelmed by emotions, depression, anxiety, grief, or distress, God is the one we can rely on. Deuteronomy 7:15 says, “And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.” There is no sickness or disease without an answer from Jesus. We either find a solution from Jesus or keep searching for it forever. We have a big God, a wonderful Jesus, and a glorious Comforter. God’s canopy is over us and will always cover us, preserving us from evil. Under His wings shalt thou trust. God guides His people through various seasons of life, including challenging times and situations and joyous and prosperous times. In this way, God instills in His people a sense of dependence on Him as the ultimate Healer who makes them whole.
Beloved, you cannot have Jesus Christ and be sick. It is about time you believe the truth of God’s Word about your healing: By His stripes, the gift of healing is yours. Refuse to be sick and make bold and positive declarations concerning good health. As a child of the Almighty God, sickness is not your portion. Jesus has paid the price; you have a right to be healed and live in divine health. Divine health is part of your salvation package, so accept nothing less. Once you receive Him as Lord of your life, all the rights and privileges God originally intended you to have (including health and prosperity) receive immediate attention. In the Name of Jesus, I command every sickness, disease, and infirmity to leave your body right now. From the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, anything not working begins to work now. It begins to function in the perfection to which God has created it, for the bread of healing belongs to the children of God(Mark 7:26-30). Surrender your life in totality to the Lord Jesus Christ today, and He will prove to you that He is indeed the Great Physician. Make demand by speaking the Word of God in faith that sickness and disease leave you now in the Name of Jesus. Refuse to back off that command, for faith-filled words change everything. They’ll move mountains into the sea and turn sickness into health. Resist the devil with all you have got. When Jesus said it is finished on the cross, it perfected your health. Remember, you are not permitted to go through what the people in the world go through.
O Lord, thank You for being my Healer. I am free from every affliction in Jesus’ Name.
