He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Without controversy, there is Power in the spoken Word of God, which produces unspeakable wonders. Our anchored Scripture emphasizes God’s potency and benevolence through His Word’s efficacy. It highlights how God’s Word functions as a therapeutic agent that liberates individuals from afflictions and rescues them from perils. The Word of God is the truth, and the knowledge of truth guarantees freedom, including freedom from sickness and disease. It is evident that one key to living in Divine Health is a steady diet of the Word of God. The Word of God is the principal source for our total health, and it is full of the prescriptions of the Great Physician. The living Word is the only authentic source of answers to impossible questions concerning our health. It is essential to know that Jesus, the Great Physician, is the One who has authentic answers to the oppression of the devil in our lives, including the spirit of infirmity. It is equally comforting to note that when a child of God is exposed to the Word of God, they receive spiritual cleansing.
It is abundantly clear that it is the perfect Will of God for His people to live in health. According to Exodus 15:26, God is the Lord who heals and delivers us from all our afflictions. Healing always starts and ends with Him. The Word of God is the primary instrument through which God carries out His work, and the Word contains the power to heal. Whenever God desires to accomplish something, He sends forth His Word. We can observe the manifestation of God’s miraculous healing and deliverance in our lives. God’s Word is the Balm in Gilead. That is, God’s healing Power resides in His Word, and every encounter with the healing Word sets us free from every harassment and torture of sickness and disease. When the Lord Jesus Christ was going to heal Bartimaeus, He did not touch him but only spoke the Word, and the blind man received his sight (Mark 10:52). In Matthew 8:8, Scripture says, “The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Note the words that he used: “He just asked Jesus to speak the Word, and his servant will be healed. The centurion demonstrated trust in Jesus’ Word. He believed that if Jesus spoke, healing would occur. Praise the Lord!
Beloved, to be connected to God’s Word is to have good health in life. On the other hand, to be disconnected from God’s Word is to be afflicted with all manner of sickness and diseases. The Lord is sending you the healing Word today, irrespective of the number of years you have spent in sickness. God is healing your finances, marital life, intellectual life, and all areas of your life. So, no matter the circumstances you may face, the Lord holds your healing and deliverance. Whatever area you need healing today, by the Word of the Lord, be healed in Jesus’ Mighty Name. I am sending the Word of God to someone who needs it today, saying, “Be healed now in Jesus’ Name.” Take a moment today to immerse yourself in His Word. Let it sink deep into your mind, heart, and very being. Trust in His promises and take Him at His Word. Remember that the Word was sent to heal and bring you closer to God.
O LORD, send me Your Word that will heal me of any affliction in my body in Jesus’ Precious Name.
