God’s Timing Is Perfect

Genesis 18:14 (KJV)

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed, I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

We serve the Almighty God who transcends all boundaries and limitations of humanity. There is nothing too hard for Him. After many years of longing for a child, Abraham and Sarah had lost hope in the promise of parenthood. However, one day, the Lord and two angels visited Abraham while he sat at the entrance of his tent. Recognizing their presence, Abraham ran to them and bowed down in reverence. He provided water for their feet, while Sarah prepared bread, and Abraham selected a tender calf for his servant to cook. After sharing a meal, the Lord proclaimed, “According to the time of life, Sarah shall have a son.” When Sarah overheard this promise, laughter erupted from her, as she pondered her age and the barrenness she had faced. Her skepticism led the Lord to question, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” Absolutely not; with God, all things are possible. Just as with Sarah, God’s plans may challenge our understanding, beckoning us to embrace His boundless power.

We serve a God who dares to achieve the impossible and accomplishes the unthinkable. Throughout Scripture, His ability to fulfill His promises despite human limitations is a recurring theme, illustrated by numerous examples of divine intervention and miraculous outcomes. He created a highway in the Red Sea, provided water from a rock for His children to drink over many years, and with just a shout, brought down the walls of Jericho, using praise to turn the enemy against themselves. Jeremiah 32:27 says, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” As the God of all flesh, He is deeply invested in our lives and well-being, for He is limitless and operates beyond the constraints of humanity. He has the power to do, undo, overdo, extra-do, and mega-do in ways that surpass our understanding, for where our limitations end, His abilities begin. He possesses all power and can accomplish anything. There is no room for limitations in His vocabulary. The God of all flesh delivered Daniel safely from the den of hungry lions. He is truly an Impossibility Specialist. The Angel of the Lord said to Mary in Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”  With God in our lives, all things are possible. The Bible says in Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” This clearly demonstrates that God is capable of performing incredible wonders that surpass our imagination, showcasing His Almightiness.

Beloved, God’s timing is perfect, His power is limitless, and His promises are sure. Confront your doubts and recognize that nothing is too hard for the LORD. Absolute surrender to God and His Will is the key, for all things are possible with our Almighty God. Anchor your faith in His limitless power and unwavering promises. By doing so, you cultivate a deeper trust in Him, knowing He is always faithful to fulfill His Word. There is a God who works wonders among men on earth. Even when others may have given up on you, He remains present to demonstrate that they are not your creator. Rest in God and wait patiently on Him. He will act according to His Will, and it will be for your favor and benefit. There is nothing God cannot handle; if it doesn’t exist, you don’t need it. When you give God the space to move, He will undoubtedly work in your life. Remove the lack of trust and unbelief from your interactions with Him. He will heal, deliver, and set you free, for He is the God of all flesh, and nothing is too hard for Him. He will break the yokes of darkness surrounding you, your family, your marriage, and all that concerns you. Your destiny will change, and your light will shine again. Remember, God’s appointed time often does not align with human timelines, for it is in these waiting periods that your faith is refined, your relationship with Him deepens, and your understanding of His character expands.

O Lord, help me believe that nothing is impossible with You. Strengthen my faith to act where You lead and to rest where You command in Jesus’ Name.
