The Lord is Faithful!

Philippians 1:6(KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Being confident means being assured, determined and believing in ourselves without having any doubt about what the future holds for us. Our anchored Scripture assures us of the commitment of God through Jesus to us as His children. This commitment is not because of what we did but because of who He is. He loves us unconditionally. Paul says that God who saved us, has started a good work in us, which He is committed to perfect. That is, He is Perfect and He also has a perfect plan for us. It is written in 1 Corinthians 1:8-9 “Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our LORD Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our LORD”. The Lord who is Faithful and is also committed to our success in life. He is committed to our wellbeing and everything that concerns our lives.

As children of God, we are complete in Him who is the Head of all principality and power. God has placed potential inside us, but just having potential is not enough. It takes time and a willingness to let God work in our lives to develop our potential. Being a Christian is more than just an immediate conversion. It is a daily process whereby we grow to be more and more like Christ. God works daily in our lives to bring us to spiritual maturity in Him to make a difference in the world and enjoy an amazing life as we learn to be led by the Holy Spirit. The key is that we have to stay in agreement with God. Psalm 138:8 says “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” We are destined to fulfil the purpose of God in us and through us, He will do all that is necessary to make us succeed. Remember, Genesis 18:14 says, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” No, nothing is impossible when we put our faith and trust in Him.

Beloved, have confidence in Christ, because you are complete in Him. No matter how bad it is, be confident that it will turn around for your good. I see you rising! Your story will not end in shame. Be confident in Him who has begun the good work. He started it and will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Don’t get discouraged, for surely God will finish what He has started! No matter how many regrets you carry or how distant God seems to you, know that He is still there, gently guiding you out of your mess into His blessing and perfection. He is a Faithful God, and He has something unmatched, unparalleled coming your way: favor, breakthroughs, restoration like you haven’t seen before! Today, keep standing, keep believing and keep hoping because the Bible says God will perfect everything that concerns your life. Walk with this boldness and assurance that Jesus is committed to you. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

O LORD, thank You for Your Word, I ask that You perfect and complete every work in my life for your Glory in Jesus’ Name.
